Many of his works have been included the books by art critics and art historians from around the world including History of world Pottery by Emmanuel Cooper and The History of American Ceramics-From 1607 to the Present by Elaine Levin (1988)

Professor Hirsch’s works have been collected widely not only by many American Museums including Boston Museum of Fine Arts; the American Crafts Museum; Everson Museum of Fine Arts and others, but also by many foreign ones in the United Kingdom, Canada and Japan. He has been present at so many exhibitions and invited to many working camps around the world. He has held a decisive position in the academic circle so that he has been regarded as one of the American master artists for his great achievements in the field of art.
